Guess it would make more sense to have it in a smaller rack seems not to many use Them in a bigger rack or?

maybe leave your rack aside and just get a oneroi desktop.

have had a break from music making the last year.
really like the videos i have seen about Befaco Oneiroi,i make Ambient style music,thinking about selling the E352 but as the Oneiroi is a Instrument in its own would it make any sense/benefit my system?

got a beatstep pro but havent used it,are there any tutorial videos about how to use it as a sequencer?

also interested in a filter that would compliment the forbidden planet,but maybe be a bit more "playable"bringing something else to the table

actually one thing ive been thinking i would like do is connect my Alesis Q25 midi keyboard to my system for more "Playability"but i need a midi to cv module for that right?but what module would work im abit baffled with this?

Today I installed the first modules and made my first patch. Envelope triggering the springreverb. Springreverb into the filter. Lowpass into the mixer. Highpass into the black hole and black hole into the mixer. Sounds realy haunting just what I was looking for. Stroking the spring with my fingers, feedback, I am verry happy! while i was patching away I realized that another mixer with a gain/overdrive (as a sub) would be verry handy.

can you tell us exactly how you are patching this - it'll probably be easier to 'debug' what you are doing...

but:
audio out of e352-> audio in of vca
gate out of pressure points->gate in of envelope generator
envelope generator out->cv in of vca
out of vca->whatever you are using to monitor (mixer) -> headphones/speakers etc

today i messed around with the modular,right now my E352 plays by itself no matter what,would it be possible to trigger it with my pressure points?so i choose when it will play?

I literally just updated to firmware v1.2 on Plaits Friday night and have been extensively playing with the Orange settings...great, great stuff.

awesome stuff,i tried updating to last firmware playing from my laptops headphone out into plaits,but it failed,have to try from my phone maybe

i would recommend a good wavetable oscillator module for Drones i love my synth tech E352,would also recommend Zadar(Lfo)and Batumi

get a bigger case,and a fx aid pro would be a good choice for reverbs and stuff

gonna try to mess around with the A1008 matrix mixer today,saw a video about the instruo Lion matrix mixer,think thats abit easier for my brain to figure out,so considering replacing the A1008 with that.

just tried messing with it,but cant seem to find where in the BSP software(midi control center)you set up the ppqn?

it's under device settings/sync: clock in/out settings - you can choose 1 step. 24ppq, 48ppq or 2ppq (korg) - you need to connect your BSP to your computer to access the device settings!

yes... one of the pitch sequencer channels for each of e352 & plaits (if you're using plaits as a melodic voice or to change mode) and 2 of the drum sequencer channels for the boba fet (& 1 for plaits if you're using it for a percussion voice)

you could also send both outputs of plaits to 2 vcas and use a pair of the drum sequencer channels to choose between them - different hats for example

I have a triple sloths and really enjoy it. I've also heard of people using one of the outputs from triple sloths as cv in for ochd which would be really nice.

Have you thought about diy? Makes triple sloths very adorable (get PCB and B stock panel).

Soldering was easier than I thought it would be 🙂

im not really into DIY as i havent soldered anything in 30 years,just wondering if having the tripple sloths in my rack would be usefull,if there is any other suggestions what i might need that would be nice,i use a beatstep pro to sequence atm

@Broken-Form - if you want the douts - you want one for each 4 x stereo channels and 1 for every 4 x mono channels module

and remember there are 2 versions:

3hp Douts - 8 3.5mm outputs
original Douts - 8 3.5mm outs and 6 1/4" outs - can also be used for 6 way format conversion

I will buy Them assembled and want 1 mono and 1 stereo so that means i need 2 douts?

Just sold my D.o.mixx module today.so think I will get the tex mix with 4 mono and 4 stereo.also sat they have a direct out expansion for this i believe.

I've got a tex-mix & really like it - inexpensive, DIY able (panel furniture & headers only) and very good for the price - and the douts are a great idea - saves stackcables for other things!

the only thing about the tex mix is that i heard there is some bleed through with the mutes

to bad it dont have direct outs,so you can multi track record into DAW(like on the D.O.MIXX)
