This is Episode 2 in my series where I break down my modular system: how it works, how it’s designed, and how I approach patching it as a playable instrument.

In this episode, I take a closer look at the quartet of analog STO oscillators that form the melodic engine of my setup. This quartet functions as the motor of the system and plays a major role in shaping what has become my signature sound. It’s a configuration I’ve been refining for years, using a combination of STO oscillators, Lowpass Gates, the Quadrax module, and the Atlas module to achieve a balance between control, movement, and musicality.

I’ve always had a strong fascination with minimal music, and this quartet has made it possible for me to develop my own version of minimal music within a modular context—focused on repetition, subtle variation, and gradual transformation.

I also explain the effects sections and how they interact with the oscillator quartet, adding space, depth, and variation without losing focus or clarity.

My hope is that this episode offers practical insight, inspiration, and new ideas that you can apply to your own patches and modular setups.
