I don't know if the moderators have the time or inclination to deal with situations like this, but in some instances, an entry in one of the modular synthesis format planners is not a module.

Here is an example that I have noticed recently and strikes me as egregious:

ZOOM LiveTrak L6max

https://modulargrid.net/e/other-unknown-zoom-livetrak-l6max

Even if someone manages to fit an object into a Eurorack case with brackets, it is a stretch to include this as a module entry.

People like to add things to MG that are in their physical racks. I don't see any problem with that at all. It helps them cope with their OCD. Does it disrupt yours?

My underlying motivation is to alert the admins to it, because I am concerned about the problem of clutter, so I try to spot duplicate entries, mark discontinued modules, etc.

The bottom line for me is, if the admins accept it as compliant, then I can manage by ignoring the entry and leaving the matter be.

there are categories, so, its not really cluttering when you filter, I never see goofy stuff like that bc I only do eurorack.

In the Eurorack module database, you will see the LiveTrak L6 when you filter for a "mixer" with the "other/unknown" checkbox checked.

On the one hand, it is a mixer and it can connect to the power supply of a Eurorack case with an adapter. On the other hand, all of the I/O is in XLR & 1/4" jacks, not 1/8" jacks.

It's really a case of "neither fish nor fowl" as the expression goes.
