I'm about to update my drum rack from modules I already own, this is a mockup of a possible config;

This is the current config;

I still like the Tiptop Audio drum modules because they sound goood, they are important in these setups.

general opinion:
+ lots of trigger control
+ sufficiant dynamic control

  • limited modulatory functions
  • no noise source

I would love to hear opinions,

Cheers!

Everyone loves the classics, but I'd definitely ditch some of the tiptop modules in favour of something more modulatable. BIA is the canonical choice, but I'm sure there's plenty others. Otherwise, looks like a lot of fun.

Percall needs noise plathora :-) Patterns from Patching Panda, 16 presets by cv - nice

what do you think about this one?

Hi,
love the rack and would love to hear it!
if you have the funds, wmd crucible would spice things up a lot. great sound and extrmly versatile. You could ditch one of the hats because it can do great hats. A little cheaper but also massive sounding would be the erica cymbals! Thats one of my next picups :)

While you're picking up little Takaab modules, I would recommend a 2LPG. It might open up what kind of oscillators and sounds you can use as percussion, and it's cheap, small, and passive.
