Awesome have to download the manual

I have just bought a 2gb Microsoft card to use with 2hp play module.

Is there a guide anywhere on how to use your own samples with the 2hp play module?

I know they need to be converted into 16bit mono using something like audacity

Any Thing Else to take into consideration?

I have a Mattis case for sale

So.e time ago i ordered a module from central and it took nearly2 months to arrive in denmark

the modules will be available in Sonic-sales in about 2-3 weeks

just got a email from the EMW guys,they will send a bunch of sub-osc generator modules in their next shipment to Sonic-sales in germany

Aha! I was working on adding new stuff and making corrections on EMW's listings, and the very thing needed here just happens to be one of their modules: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/emw-sub-osc-generator

The very thing, with 1 and 2 octave suboscillator, "tone" control (waveshaping, basically), fits in 6 hp and only costs $69 + shipping from Brazil. I would suggest going direct with EMW, also...their distribution can be spotty in some locations.

And oh, yeah...it's got its own 4-point passive mult to boot!

And not meaning revers and delay modules

BUT ONLY Eurorack Modules.

Right now im just using a 2hp play module loaded with my own samples

But what is out there thats interesting and dont cost an arm and a leg.

Your original oscillator, you would mult that if you want a copy to send to a mixer to be able to mix the original sound in with the generated subs.

Right now my main osc is E352 that has 2 outputs.and right now my only mult is the one in links .so maybe i Will have to test with stackcables.

Also read that alm chalkboard can be used as a bufferen mult.so might have to test that out too

Came to Thing abort it i forgot to do the mult Thing.i use sism to do the offset.should i do the mult aften sism?

I've got this derived-square patch working on my system right now. Here's how I'm doing it:
1. square wave from any OSC patched to input of A160-2
2. take an output from A160-2: that's the result. Note this is POSITIVE voltage only.
3. apply a bit of offset (negative voltage) using a utility. I have ShadesV2 doing this. SISM would work fine, lots of others would work fine.

I'm getting a square wave at 1/2 rate. Varying settings on A160-2 gives me different pulse width on the output. Both audio and oscilloscope are showing me this works on my end. Note the result is just a lower version of the original square wave.

Of course, assuming you want to mix the original and the derived square, you'll need a copy (mult) of the original.

its the newest version,bought it some months ago,but havent had time to test it untill this week,have tried with different cables(all connected as one should)

this is my rack im building atm

i dont have the tetrapad-tete s yet,and the veils seems to be broke.

anyone have any starter tips to patch up dark drones/ambient drones

i can hear some when i run audio trough veils,but no lights and nothing happens when i move the sliders or turn the knobs:(((((

also think i will get the Doepfer A-115 think that will be very usefull in my setup

can someone explain to me have a patch this up to work???from my Synth tech E352 through the Doepfer clock divider?

Hi Broken-Form,

How about using an Audio Interface module to "solve" the problem or at least to make your audio output life easier?

I am using a PreSonus StudioLive Series III mixer and I have no issues, great sound.

Let's hope this is not the case but check it: In case you provided a far too "hot" signal to your mixer, worst case your input channels might have been burned up into smoke, try another input channel (not used for Eurorack before yet) and make sure you start with a very low output signal (start with zero) and then increase it slowly to something reasonable. Please do keep in mind that Eurorack signal -10 V to +10 V is too hot for audio/external mixers (max about -2 V to +2 V). One would expect that input channels have some kind of overload protection but don't count too much on it either.

Please let us know once you get something out of your external mixer.

Hence my advice to go for an audio interface module, less worries about DC components in your signal too! :-) Kind regards, Garfield.

It should only light up when there is a signal going into it. If it doesn't light up then, then there is a problem.

Looks like the D.O. MIXX has direct outs on each of the five channels, so you could set volume levels there and then send each channel to the Jumble Henge for EQ and panning. The Jumble Henge would allow 11 more inputs and be your main outs at that point. You might be able to do some interesting feedback patching too.

might be worth getting a jumble henge to try it out,so my D.O.MIXX would be like a sub-mixer of some sorts?

The Worng Soundstage and ALM Jumble Henge mixers seem to solve this problem with EQ and panning pre-set for each input. Every demo I have heard of each sound great for standard usage, and they can be used more creatively too.

for the time being i only use my modular in the studio have a bloodcells Audio D.O.Mixx going into my studiolive 16.02 then i record seperat tracks into Reaper,where i have eq plugs on every track.

but came to think about what if i want to take the modular out of the studio sometimes,how do you avoid frequency clashing in the modular world?

EQ Modules could quickly take up alot of space i would think??

a effects module that get reccommended alot here is the FX Aid XL(gonna get that one myself later this year)
