looks like 2 seperate collaborations with Infinite Digits, since they both have their logo. Am I missing something? This doesn't look like something I'm into, but friggin' love Maneco Labs
its written in the description though, that flame uses trs b and for that reason there's also an a-b converter on board.
just so everyone is clear, the thrus only work with trs type-b inputs. that are not mults; a thru. i was hoping for the former but got the later. ladik has one with switchable outs but, not enough (for me). need two THOSE now...
Hey,
I have a feeling this idea may have some merit. With MIDI being a category I believe this also means I2C as a function should be a category. There are many modules that include this including The new Big Genes (Ksoloti Based) many 16n and 8n slider units, the Monome Teletype and others.
It would certainly help me in my search for utilizing this incredibly interesting protocol in the modular!
Thanks for listening.

completely agree on the design. its more of a one to one... with, no cv control, etc...
good for ID if they managed two collabs within such a short time (they're doing some good stuff), lets see what they say.
and, also agree on it being the buyers choice... one of the joys of modular!last... happy new year, ParanormalPatroler... thanks for all the insights and advice on MG and MW :)

My pleasure! Happy new year to you too, and wishing you a very creative 2025, with lots of patching opportunities. :)
Hi there
I am using my rack mainly to do dark ambient melo patches these days.
I would like to do more modulation and complexer, more with the maths, does anyone have ideas how I could use it with the Sv1? Somehow I find the maths still complex to use..(checked the cheat sheet)
If you look at the entire rack maybe some stuff doesnt make to much sense, (bought someones rack, and had my own already..
Looking for patching ideas and general tips about the use of this rack. how I can use the Vcd Lfo module and general tips on LFos and maybe on the Yarns..
not on this screensthot, rene1, ears, polivoks filter (erica synth)
thx loads

Not the same design. And at least this time he added Infinite Digits on the panel. I haven't heard from ID yet whether it's an official collaboration, so let's see. In all honesty, not much you can do apart from not buying it.

this seems a little strange... module, timing... etc...
its open source... i know... but...
so tasty
I want this really hard

Anyone interested? Tiptop shape. Some tiny scuff marks from some synth rubber feet on the top.
Unfortunately this is only pick up, since i have no access to a matching box to ship it in.
Pick-up in Cologne Germany. Asking 580 €
Hi everyone, here Joaquín from Oficina de Sonido
We are very pleased to announce our first module of 2025. This is an envelope generator with two integrated VCAs. It allows to have two audio inputs with a dedicated mix knob. And with a gates launcher knob. All in 6hp at a reasonable price!
Simply go to the YT page and copy out of the Address bar and paste in here, no fancy tags or anything.
Enjoy your spare HP, don't rush to fill every last space, this is not like filling sticker books. Resist the urge to 'complete' your rack, its never complete so just relax.
This looks very unique and interessting.

this isn't vBulletin & obviously I have no idea how to post a video link

I've just bought a second hand DU-SEQ unit and the thing won't power on. Has anybody had any experiences with this unit? The online manual is pretty scant on details but I'm assuming it only needs the standard 12v cable connecting.
... that brings the flexibility of a full-featured sequencer ...
-- FileTransferProtocolThis sequencer looks like a lot of fun!
But does it really have no reset CV-input, or am I missing something?
Wouldn't that mean it inevitably goes out of sync when restarting the master clock?A demo video with drums or at least a metronome alongside some loops of other sequencers would be super interesting to see!

Thanks. So, you are correct in that there is no CV-based Reset but there are actually many different ways to reset on the fly. (Shift + Play, Shift + Current Playback Direction, Shift + Sequence Selection, etc...) The hardware is based on the Notcurne Alchemy Platform (This is a free firmware for it) that orginally was just a CV keyboard with a 1v/o out, and a gate out. Only two jacks to work with. The Arp Of Darkenss has the same limitation but people don't seem to mind with everything else that it does.
I'm still actively developing firmare for all of these modules (old and new) and the rest features that have been implemented so far came from user suggestions, so I always welcome feedback.
Also, on the videos above, both videos show it in action with drums, and the intro video it is plaing along with drums, and a second sequence playing in sync along with it on an Arp Of Darkness. There will be more videos to come as well. Hope that helps!

Very excited to announce a new module. The Seventh Summoner
It's a powerful 1U performance sequencer that brings the flexibility of a full-featured sequencer into a compact form. At its core, it’s designed for real-time performance, giving you the ability to recall and manipulate up to six 32-note sequences on the fly. Adjust playback direction, slew, octave, note transposition, and clock division in real-time to craft evolving musical expressions.
And then, there is the Summoner... With the Summoner Sequence, you can record these same dynamic manipulations into a meta-sequencing layer. Chain your sequences in up to 16 steps, complete with all your adjustments, and watch them come to life like spirits in the grasp of a master Summoner.
If you already own a Slight of Hand, or Arp Of Darkness, don't buy this. It's a free firmware for you that can be flashed to your module via USB. Go to https://www.flatsixmodular.com/firmware to grab it. There's more coming.
What a dangerous module, beautiful.
Midlife Crisis Modular Enthusiasm
It seems like the Mutable Instruments Plaits page has disappeard, although the module is still listed in the Module Finder.

Howdy!
I'm assuming that's 2000mA of +12v, so to give proper guidance it would be helpful to know what the -12v draw of your modules is. These power supplies output 2000mA +12v:
TipTop uZeus: https://modulargrid.net/e/tiptop-audio-uzeus--
4MS Row Power 45: https://modulargrid.net/e/4ms-company-row-power-45
Konstant Labs StrongPWR: https://modulargrid.net/e/konstant-lab-strongpwr
That said, if you know your modules for sure draw 2000mA +12v, you'd actually want a power supply that gives you an additional 20% or so (most module power ratings are averages, so you want to be able to handle fluctuations as well as onrush when you first power up the system). As far as I can tell, there really isn't much for power supply modules that do more than 2000mA, so you may be better off getting a case with integrated power supplies. The TipTop Mantis case is rated for 3000mA +12v and is generally regarded as the best bang-for-buck case on the market.
Cheers!
what power supply do i need to run 2000mA of modules?
any advice?
thank you
Sorry my previous post is tripled! I don't know how that happened but any moderator who sees this is welcome to delete two of them please! :-)
Anyways, I was just thinking, at least for my uses, it would be great if there was a new "float" section option that would be somewhat like the pedalboard builder? It could be setup similar to how the 1U row option is now but if "float row" is selected for 1U rows, all adjacent float rows would be combined into one big space, and even adjacent 3U rows could be set to "float"? Modules could be placed in a float row, rotated horizontally and vertically like pedals, and their power specs and cost would be added to the totals (if they are modules). And any modular rack that contains a float row can be opened in the pedalboard builder so that pedals and other gear like desktop synths and mixers etc. can be added to the float rows?
Oh, this has been a request since 2022?
+1 please, this is really what I'd love to have.
Marbles and Sloths are mostly in control, almost all coming from my Main case. Sloths is acting on the VCAs in SSF Vortices for slow transitions.

Thanks for the write up on this . The CMOS 4017 has always seen the perfect chip to make a sequencer out of.
Now I want to see some make a compressor circuit using an LM3915 Audio Dot/Bar Display driver
to control multiple OpAmp gain.
look, I know it's just Rings into Clouds. But. It's a fun place to start.
... though wish I'd gotten an LFO bank that could be reset to have them more in sync but live amd learn, etc.
A delay based on the Princeton Tech echo/delay/‘verb chip.
Pretty straightforward build Sound is good, there’s some grit on high feedback levels which is interesting.
Good, small, reasonably inexpensive delay unit.
Such a lovely peice.

Today is the day after Christmas. It’s misty outside. Here in my attic, it’s cozy and warm.I’m drinking tea all day and making music. I wanted to create a patch which reflected this feeling.Music like a warm blanket. I used the polyphonic mode of my Hermod Plus by @squarpinstruments for that. Paired with the @vostok_instruments module line, it’s perfect for polyphony. Please enjoy and I wish you a beautiful 2025 full of love, health and beautiful bleeps and bloops. ❤️
