Hi everyone,
I’m currently planning a Eurorack system in an Intellijel 7U Performance Case and would like to sanity-check my planned 1U I/O section before committing.
Planned Intellijel 1U modules:
* 1U Aux Mix
* 1U Stereo I/O
* 1U MIDI
* 1U Pedal I/O
My intended setup / use case:
* MIDI keyboard → Modular
* Electric guitar → Modular
* Ableton Live (recording and possibly clock)
* Allen & Heath Xone 96 as the external mixer
What I would like to do:
* Feed the entire Eurorack system as its own stereo channel into the Xone 96
* Use the Eurorack as an FX processor via send/return for two Xone channels (e.g. delay / FX inside the rack)
* Integrate guitar and MIDI keyboard cleanly into the system
* Record the mix into Ableton Live
My current assumption is:
* Stereo I/O for modular ↔ line level (Xone / audio interface)
* Aux Mix for internal mixing and FX send/return (Xone)
* Pedal I/O for guitar (instrument level handling)
* 1U MIDI for midi-keyboard and Ableton
My question:
Is this combination sufficient to run the rack as a stereo channel on the Xone 96 and simultaneously use the Eurorack as a send/return FX path between the Xone and the rack? Or am I missing a bottleneck ?
Thanks a lot for any feedback!
Best regards,
David
