I don't know if the moderators have the time or inclination to deal with situations like this, but in some instances, an entry in one of the modular synthesis format planners is not a module.

Here is an example that I have noticed recently and strikes me as egregious:
ZOOM LiveTrak L6max

Even if someone manages to fit an object into a Eurorack case with brackets, it is a stretch to include this as a module entry.

People like to add things to MG that are in their physical racks. I don't see any problem with that at all. It helps them cope with their OCD. Does it disrupt yours?

My underlying motivation is to alert the admins to it, because I am concerned about the problem of clutter, so I try to spot duplicate entries, mark discontinued modules, etc.
The bottom line for me is, if the admins accept it as compliant, then I can manage by ignoring the entry and leaving the matter be.
there are categories, so, its not really cluttering when you filter, I never see goofy stuff like that bc I only do eurorack.

In the Eurorack module database, you will see the LiveTrak L6 when you filter for a "mixer" with the "other/unknown" checkbox checked.
On the one hand, it is a mixer and it can connect to the power supply of a Eurorack case with an adapter. On the other hand, all of the I/O is in XLR & 1/4" jacks, not 1/8" jacks.
It's really a case of "neither fish nor fowl" as the expression goes.

Better delete all those blank panels then

Some more examples of "non-modules":
https://modulargrid.net/e/intellijel-4u-x-62hp-palette-case-top-row-silver-0-5u
There are more similar entries for Intellijel case top rows, looks like 4 ones that I looked at combined are used in over 12000 racks.
Make Noise 0-coast, used in 4500 racks:
https://modulargrid.net/e/make-noise-0-coast-
Make Noise 1u cv bus, used in 4400 racks:
https://modulargrid.net/e/make-noise-cv-bus-case
Looks like quite a lot of people seem to like using "non-modules" in their racks. Personally, I don't see a problem with any of the examples I know of.
If something can be mounted in an Eurorack enclosure and runs with 12v it counts as Eurorack, more or less. Even more if it is unlisted. Meaning, users can upload stuff to use for their own racks.
But of course there is a huge gray zone. The database does not need to be clean but it should stay relevant and useful.
In that sense keep posting if something is totally off or spammy and we will take care.
