STO into Veno then Monsoon Clouds and Mimeophon and Zverb.
Crackle from noise into VC T-Networks.
Sample of Thunder in the Sebsongs Sampler on look via a band pass filter.
Radio Music-flashed prok playing other samples with Sloths deciding when it comes and goes.
Bit of reverb & Feedback control of Clouds with the Transient Modules Joystick.
Marbles is in control, modulations mainly from Ochd & Expander.

Not sure there is a such a thing as a proper mains powered 2hp module, though if you can power via USB then there is this from Rakits https://www.rakits.co.uk/product/go/ which might let you lighten the load on the Rackbrute.

I'd go as far to say the Veno Echo is amazing. It absolutly loves modulation.
And a combo of Veno and Mimeophon is even better.

2hp Bell for sound.
Befaco Burst for triggers and probability.
2hp ARP for Arpeggios.
Divkid / Instruo Ochd+ Expander for modulation.
Veno-Echo for delays and messing.
Monsoon Clouds for a bit of Reverb.

assuming that you have no other gear doing sequencing, you have a couple of options:

Use the Edu sequencer as the main Triggers and Pitch sequencing.
Use the Turing Machine to send CV to control theFrequency on one of your Filters.

Or do the opposite ;-)

With a bit of tinkering you can great an entire patch that runs from a noise source, if thats your thing.

I regularly put noise into a VCA and turn down the amplitude, feed that into the ADDAC T-Networks and you get a lovely grungy crackle, feed that Crackle into an Envelope Follower and you can get a Clock/Gate out of it along with an envelope slope.
Meaning you can adjust the VCA, the Envelope follower or the T-Networks and get subtle changes to the triggers you are getting.
Sloths is a great module As @geusensdriesmusic says, I'm currently using it to modulate Divkid Ochd.
Marbles might be a good starting point for a bunch of Triggers, Gates, V/oct and modulation (Just remember to modulate your Modulators).
2hp RND has planty of options for such a small module
Befaco Burst is good for triggers guided by probability
Noise Engineering Clep Diaz is a nice little LFO, Stepped and Stepped Random module that will keep in sync with your clocks.

Have you tried doing a Krell Patch?

Error Instruments make the Indian Reasonator, which you could think of a as a One-trick-Pony but I find it quite flexible for some background sound scapes. Filter it, combine it with Sine waves and wavefold it.

Kinda weird, start listening about 1 minute in as it was recorded live. The Dual CS20 VCF from Cubusynth works a treat here with plenty of modulation thrown at it, modulation mostly comes from NLC Sloths driving the Divkid/Instruo Ochd, into some effects via Mimeophon & some granular action from Clouds.

Unless you already have the Rackbrute, my experience with that case wasn't good and I ended up returning it even after they said they had fixed it. It got really really hot for me which wasn't happening with my TipTop uZeus power supply so the only thing I could think was it was the rackbrute power at fault. So hot it smelled like melting plastic all the time stinking the room out.

Now I run 2x TipTop uZeus for my small cases and some nice Konstantlab power for my main case.

Just did a thing by holding a Piezo onto my crappy soldering iron stand, scratching it with an allen key and sampling it in the SebSongs Sampler, I think it turned out kinda nice. NLC Sloths modulates Ochd, Ochd does stuff, then other stuff do other things, before 3 effects routs and a filter.

This may not be anything to do with what you are talking about but I have Pams as my main clock and the Midi out controlling my Beatstep pro, while playing i see the BPM change on the beatstep and can hear the slowdown in tempo. As far as i can see i do not have any Swing or probability set on the beatstep and I never have an issue with Pams swaying about as its rock solid.

It may be worth making a short video of the issues and sending it to Instruo, there email is in their T&Cs info@instruomodular.com

For me as a producer of beer we like to investigate any issues that get reported and react as best we can to resolve problems or indeed in some cases our due dilligence tells us we have done everything correct and the customer is doing something wrong, each case is tracked back to production records and staff consulted so that we can always improve and if needed adjust process to target consistency.
Thankfully problems are vanishingly rare but we still take the time to see if improvements can be made.

leave a blank for some time while you figure out more about what feels missing to you. After all, that's often a good thing to do if you're in doubt, it's free and modular is not a race, you don't have to "finish your rack".
It's your custom instrument, so take your time to think about how you want it to be ;)
-- toodee

I like this advice, there is no rush to fill spare space, let it breath a while and you might just figure out what you need versus what would look nice in the gap ;-)

For me prsonally I'm at the state of slight mental anguish as to whether I should get a Shackmat Gemini's Path, a Ripples v2 Clone or a O_C, they are all viable choices, some sensible and some fun. Sometimes its better to get the 'Bread & butter' elememnts before going for that fancy Frnch Patisserie.

Thats me though and I have 3 disinct paths I wish to take my modular, 1/ Main Case whih is mainly for generative, 2/ My Percussion and Acid rows, then 3/ I'm planning a seperate weird, sound mangling esoteric rack.
