Behinger Model D need a VCA in Eurorack?

Hello all,
I took my Model D out of its desktop case and put it into my Behringer GO Case. Per the manual, the model d is plugged into one dedicated section of the GO case, but when I go from the main pout into the in on my Erica Synths sterio mixer....nothing. Volume on the model d, mixer, and even the input on my interface set to max and only get the FAINTEST sound.

When its in the desktop case its fine. Does the desktop case wiring have a built in VCO and thats why it only works in desktop mode? Im debating getting a 2HP linear VCA from sweetwater and seeing if that helps.

When tuning the model d one of the oscillators also wasnt in tune and i cant turn the tuning thing enough to get it in tune. Is the synth just a bust?

Howdy! What are you using to control the D? If you're using the MIDI in I can't tell you what's wrong, but the main thing that comes to mind is that you need to gate both the filter contour and the loudness contour for it to sound. As far as tuning is concerned, the knobs for osc 2 and 3 go 5 full tones away in either direction, so you may need to change the octave if you're still not able to match pitch. If that still doesn't work it may need some calibration and that's past my ability haha
