This is a new kind of video for me.
In this one, I’m focusing on a single module — BOPP and STEVE by This Is Not Rocket Science.

This is not a review. I’m not a reviewer — I’m a musician.
So rather than diving into every technical detail, I’m giving you a musical demonstration: how I use this module to patch, play, and make music.

It’s a new direction I’m exploring, and I’m really enjoying it.
I originally started this channel to share my music, but more and more people have been asking how I create it — how I patch, how I build my sounds, and how I work with modular gear.

So this is the first step in sharing more of that side of my process.

Let me know in the comments if this kind of video speaks to you — I’d love your feedback.

Thanks for watching

hi
i just had a flick through your video ... i wanted to hear how noisey your bop and steve was ...
i guess its difficut to tell when its got sound coming in as the levels of noise itself kinda blurs into the fx natural sound ..
i can dial out the noise by setting tail to full and temperture to full , but that renders the thing pretty useless .as the tails removes the delays after so much , the delays are blurred , as with any delay i guess ..
ive had the best results in my intelligel cases , as i guess the power is cleaner maybe than some of my other sources ..
ive found the the module has a very hi noise output in comparison to all the other modules in my wmd performance mixer ..
its kinda bearable ..i have spoken to the guys and they did offer a solution , which was to switch a capaciter , something im ok to do.. i think ... im still waiting back further instruction ..
its such a lush sounding module .. would prefer it with a little less noise .
sounds like i can hear some hissing around 10.07 in your video ...
