just one thing about insurance:
you can pay insurance when you ship something, but in case of loss or damage you have to prove the value of your gear.
So you must have the original invoice to prove it.

If you don't have any invoice you will receive the fixed compensation. Even if you have paid an insurance.
It's useless to pay insurance if you don't have an invoice.
I don't know if the seller has the original invoice, but if he has it he should have pay insurance.
No need for the buyer to ask it.

In France, fixed compensation is 75€ + shipping paid for the parcel (for a module most of the time it's ~15€).
That means, if your parcel is lost, the seller will receive 90€ from La Poste...

I've built this module and it's wonderfull.
Through hole componants easy to find.
Not calibrated yet but if makes marvelous noises.
The chaos section is a great idea.
Love it.

For Gargield, it needs 5v.

Actually I don't own 4ms module except SMR.
I checked the description of all 4ms modules on their website.
If you go to specs for each module, it's written if they use 5v or not.
RCD expander and SCM expander don't use 5v.

QCD and its expander, Quad pingable lfo, VCA Matrix, SCM, SWN, PEG and as you said RCD and SMR.

I'm very beginner in midi and when I've bought it I didn't know there was an Expert sleepers tiny breakout available.
There are many subtilities for me to learn about midi.

I agree.
I like the xoxo breakout because you can switch the input from midi type A to type B with a switch on the frontpanel.
No need to unplug everything.
But only one module by breakout.

Because there is superbooth next week.

Quad random enveloppe generator.

Beast tek double dragon is fun.
It's not a random generator but it can produces very weird waveforms.

Synthesis technology E352 gives good results too.

I forgot a useful module to convert cv to midi.
The Tesseract Modular Sweet Sixteen (mk1 or mk2).
With it you can send 16 cv to midi.
Midi channel freely assignable with the web based editor.
You can't do midi to cv with it.

On some actual module you can choose 5v converted from 12v or using 5v from power bus, with a jumper at the back of the module.
If you use 5v from power bus it lowers 12v consumption.
And some like Klavis Quadigy doesn't run without 5v.
