Im building a performance box full of joysticks and controllers for live use. I need a 4 channel pannable mixer. Does anyone have any ideas? They all seem to be so desperately expensive (such as the lovely http://l-1.su/StereoMixer.html). I was wondering if someone had any ideas on a cheaper but solid alternative?

After 25 years making music, its time to get into Eurorack. Been watching the discussions here for some time and have finally set myself on a starter Doepfer bundle of:

A-110.1 (VCO) x2
A-138b (Mixer)
A-106.6 (VCF)
A-131 (VCA)
A-143-2 (quad envelope)
A-143.4 (VC LFO)
A-190.3 (MIDI-CV)
does that sound like a good starting point? Im looking for a basic starting monosynth, then to build develop and explore effects and multi source mangling from there...
