Its primary a Synth, some Lines below are the 6 U Rack that wants to be a Drummachine, need here some suggestions too.
A idea about the Sequencer:

9U is controlled by the PC over Midi, later the 9U will control the Sequencer by the clocking from it.
Musicstyles are mixed electronic from Experimental, Drum n Bass, IDM, BigBeat, Dubstep to Dub.

want to make a 5 Row Rack (5x3U) because i want to have my two Racks in One.
Its the best way to have booth in one Editor.
1x 9U and 1x 6U = 15U = 5 Rows or separated 2 Cases.
Don´t want to switch between my actual two Racks, so the best way was add 3 + 2.
But isn´t possible

I'd checkout the 4ms pingable envelope generator. It does attack and decay as this envelope does and has the attenuation control within the module via scale knob, equivalent to the pitch env initial. Curve at 12 o'clock and skew all the way CW you have the above linear envelope. Also the ping input can take the output of your clock so you can get for instance a pitch envelope of 500ms at 1/4 division if clock is at 120 bpm, which can be nice and musical and would function as the time control. Then all you do is patch the env out into the v/oct input of whatever oscillator u r using.

You can do this already if you have an envelope/function generator, oscillator and offset module, most oscillators have at least two cv inputs for frequency for this reason.

I am looking for a Eurorack Module for Pitch Envelope.
What I am trying to get is the functionality in an Ableton Live instrument called Analog. Here is a screenshot of this part:
The minimum requirements is for:
- a % Env Amount to increase/decrease the pitch based on the input pitch
- decay/time functionality
- CV in to trigger and Pitch in/out
Any suggestions? A DIY module would be preferable.

maths is great but you may get in to the "modulation trap "
to many mod sources , not enough things to plug them into ...

drop Pamela workout , the tiptop smart vco and eurorack FX
FX's are not really needed if you have a computer , use CVtoMIDI to control FX on your computer

So this is what I've come up...and I'm asking for advice. Everything on the top row, I already own. The bottom two rows I am considering for completing my first euro rack. I've got a maschine 2, as well as a Sub 37 in my studio.
Am I missing anything? Anything unnecessary (including the racks Ive already purchased? :(
My goal is to make chill rhythms for my hip hop.

The micro zeus only has 10 spaces with the flying bus boards. You'd have to figure out a way to plug all of that stuff in.

I'd really appreciate any comments, advice etc.. for the rack Im designing as the main sequencing modular rack for my studio...
My main aim is to use this for Old School Berlin type work with some random elements
My total budget is about $6000
I spent about a month really enjoying playing with and experimenting on, a similar Mutable based rack that a client bought in and Im trying to duplicate that as best I can from memory.. as he seems to have vanished off the face of the earth!
Am I missing anything obvious? Any dumb mistakes? Any suggestions as to how to improve this.. in regards to my preferred style of music as well as integration into a Logic Pro / Numerology based Mac system?
I also have a Minilogue, DSI P12, Sub37, 3 x Mother 32s, Octotrack, Analog Keys, Pulse2, Zaquencer, Future Retro Orb & Zillion, Ultranova, Virus C and Snow Ti along with assorted FX pedals like a few H9s, Big Sky, Timeline, Infinity Looper and so on.. as well as a P6, Linnstrument and Roli Rise as Midi controllers and 3 X Motu AVB 16As for i/o into Mac...

I think this would be a really smart investment as 1) it could bring in additional revenue for the site and 2) it would really make laying out racks on iPhone and iPad much nicer. ....

The Intellijel module entries are controlled by them now (hence the manufacturer approved seal) so. Only they can change the info now.

The Rack:
Trigger Riot and the other modules in First Row are RDY.
Second Row, shows some ideas.
Tendencies to non-standard Percussions and Drums or Drumsound-Modulation like sounding with a E355 (Synthesis tech.) or something strange stuff. Breakbeat/Breakcore, IDM, Rhythms and Clicks, DLY and so on, should be possible.
I Think:
- clockable Random Source
- VCA
- dual OSC
- ADSR (maybe dual)
- 2 Filters
- Clock/ Trigger Manipulator
are good Options.
Or?

Hey Rob. Nice rig you've got picked out so far. Pretty solid setup for getting started. I was taking a look at that rack and realized that the shop I work at now has RF Nomads in stock right now if you're having trouble finding one. We have new ones available on the website at www.foxtonemusic.com and currently one used one. I seem to run out of multiples, attenuverters and patch cables no matter how many I have. But all these considerations are pretty futile unless you put something together and start patching.- While I had a pretty good idea what I wanted from my rack when I started out, things looked different when I actually got my hands on them. The learning goes on but my decisions are getting more educated.

While GrandPa is a sampler, it seems to have a grain synth slant. Nebulae looks more open to me. Also, it can run Csound and Pure Data programs. So quite the beast in a class of its own.
I haven't included any specific percussion or drum sounds as I have a Maschine somewhere that I thought I could use for this and to act as a Midi trigger in the early days (hence the Erica Midi - Trigger module). <
If you don't feel like firing up the DAW but need some quick and dirty sampled drums: D-333
Doesn't break the bank and throws in some lofi wavetable-ish sounds for good measure. Just 4HP too.
I suspect that once I start this, I'm going to have difficulty stopping...

Even disregarding the bottom row it looks pretty complete to me.
A little light on utilities but you will see what works for you .

I've been on and off the edge of building a modular for ages and have finally taken the plunge with 12U x 84HP sat on my desk. I have been poring over Muff Wiggler posts for the past month or so and finally feel ready to start ordering some modules.
To share some of my thinking, I already have a Nord Lead so didn't want to create a copy of a subtractive synth. Instead I want to build a unique "instrument" that has enough sound sources to make "music" on a stand alone basis. I have however included a "standard" VCO, VCF, VCA as I can't quite get my head around leaving any of them out...
A massive part of the appeal of a modular is to create sounds and rhythms "hands on" without having to pore over a DAW for hours or dive through too many menus. It seems great to start off with a patch or short sequence and build / react to that with other sound sources in the modular.
Having said that, I have a DAW sat on my desk and an RME Fireface so the Expert Sleepers ES3 seems like a great way to be able to automate control from a DAW. Likewise having an Audio Interface in the modular seems like a good idea so that I can feed external sounds to e.g. the filter and take output into my Emulator 4 which has the RFX Effects expansion for further sculpting.

I'd toss the delay for now. It's a digital module, and you could easily use a software delay for the same effect. Everything else you have there is analog and can impart unique tones to your signal, including having a real spring reverb, which is something software has yet to emulate properly. IMO... :)
Yes thanks, that's what i also thought. Will probably throw out the reverb effect to add some more modulation.
Replace Yarns+QR2 (16hp) or Yarns+QR2+Triatt(22hp) with:
* Warps
* Discrete OTA VCF
* Dixie II+
* uScale

Without more modulation, it will just be chains of effects. That will be fun to an extent, but you'll want some Lfos, random sources (stepped and smooth) etc, to make it worthwhile going modular to begin with.
Hey guys, i'm new to this whole modular thing, so it would be great to have someone look over this. I want to process audio signals from hardware or software instruments or samples directly from my DAW. I plan to come in with the audio signal from my Scarlett audio interface through the Gozinta, from there into Make Noise Function which will be used mainly as an Envelope Follower to generate Gate and Trigger signals from the incoming audio. After that i added some filters, adsr and effects and dynamics stuff, before i go out and back through the audio interface in my DAW via the Make Noise Rosie. What do you think? Is this possible the way i sketched it? Or am i missing something?
