Patch based around the Geosync TB-O and TB-EFA sequenced from the Beatsteop pro and then an accent sequence from the Steppy, Steppy also does a patern through an LPG for a secondary sequence which is de-coupled from the Pitches of the main 303 sequence but the TB-O is the the only VCO.
Thanks for listening.

Maybe an MG feature could/should be to add translation to English, though most browsers will translate for you if you right click.
Forse una funzionalità di MG potrebbe essere quella di aggiungere la traduzione in inglese, anche se la maggior parte dei browser tradurrà per te se fai clic con il pulsante destro del mouse.
I really wish I could speak more than a handfull of words from German, Spanish, French and Japanese. Such a good skill to have that I wish was taught when I was at school.

I've recently built the combo of TB-O and TB-EFA for some proper 303 action which sound great and quite a bit different to my HNVCF's 18db, the HN is good but the TB-EFA is gnarly and bubbling https://www.modulargrid.net/e/ge0sync-synth-tb-efa

So which concept are you preferring?
I can see that its nice to have some portable gear, I don't consider my main case Portable cos its Blooming heavy but I'm working towards having a my Top Case and Percussion Case as being portable and easy to combine with a Beatstep Pro. This leaves my Main Case to be more Generative and experimental.
I want to develop another case that will be more about weird shit and sound mangling from external sources like Pizo pickups etc.

Yep, people's pockets are getting deeper and their arms shorter.
Its definitiely a buyers market out there.
I have a few things I want to sell that i don't use anymore but I know they aren't going to get a good price.
The Roland TB-03 I have and don't use is a prime example, they look to be going for around £200, though in this instance I feel I can blame Behringer for bringing out their fully analogue TD-3 which you can get New for £99 and it probably spounds better than the all digital Roland.

In the beginning we're understandably a bit voracious, but the more we add on the table, the more discriminating gourmet we become.

Never more true words, I am definitley becoming a discriminating gourmet, I even feel like my module-buying is slowly coming to an end.... Shocking I know

OK, thanks.
Just giving it a go with the Patching Panda Punch and it does something but not as well as shooting it a gate, it seems a low velocity is the default High and a high velocity is a low or reduced accent. Weird.

If I have a module that has an Accent input and its expecting a Gate or Trigger is it possible to use the Velocity output on the Beatsteo Pro to do this. I realise I could use 2 sequencer patterns but that would take up, you guessed it, 2 sequencer lanes!
Thanks

Yep, it would suck HP very fast. I'm going to end up with more Mixers and Stereo Mixers taking up HP in my racks than I'd like, I'm already taking up 62HP for Mixing in my cases and I still need/want more!

as a workaround i have most of my 2hp modules combined with small blank panels on at least one side.
this particular module does not have any potentiometers so probably there is no need for additional space.
i never have heard of this module but reading the description made my curious - i am going to search for some sound examples...
-- modular01
That's exactly what I do, or leave a 1hp air-gap between 2hp modules. Though the Takaab module is just something you can hide away and leave patched as chances are everything that comes out of it will be sub-mixed back into the original or another signal before hitting a VCA or Filter.

If the TipTop ECHOZ & Z5000 are anything as good as the ZVERB I just got I'd check those out too.
+1 on the Mimeophon though, clocked or unclocked, frozen or Flipped it can get quite creative. My only critism of the Mimeophon is that the Reverb 'Halo' can get a bit Phaser/Flanger-like so best only used subtly.

Other patch notes are:
I patch some of the STO sine through the DannySound Timbre with ends up beng a really suttle occasional part Cross-faded on with some crackle on the SSF Vortices Channels 3 & 4.
The other bit is the RadioMusic-flashed ProkDrum and screwing with some of the sample banks, some of it works and some of it should have been more subtle.
Cheers :)

I just got a TipTop Zverb so the constant wash of Reverb Shimmer comes from this, Marbles is in control, all Oscillator sound is coming from the MakeNoise STO, Clouds is taking crackling noise which is filtered via the ADDAC VC T-Networks, Mimeophon is in Purple mode with sorta looping delay, Modulation across this patch is from NLC Sloths, Divkid/Instruo Ochd and a 2hp RND, I'm using the Befaco Burst to bring probability to the on and off gates that hit Flip on Mimeophon.
Def a fun little patch which makes for very easy listening.
Hope you enjoy.

I've got another 3u 104hp case coming and I'm considering how I should move modules around.
I suppose I want each case to work at least partly as a self-contained rack, I may look at putting a Mixer into each case, and maybe some sort of effects, if it doesn't already have.
New Case (Top) - I've just thrown a few things in but the intention is to maybe move the weirder and less-used modules into here. This might not be displaying the correct link Image so click through to the actual rack
Main Case (Middle) - This is exactly how it is now.
Percussion Row (Bottom) - This is exactly as I have it now, I'm pretty happy with how this is though if anything moves it will be the ADDAC 104VC T-Networks as I like it for making crackly filtered noise.
Things I'm planning to sell.
I think I'll probably end up with one more case so I end up with a small esoteric / weird shit / sound mangling case.
Thanks for any input :)

I hear that the Morphagene can be a bit noisy, a bit like the Mineophon which I have though it sort of depends on the settings whether the feedback develops into annoying noise.

I literally had loose nuts on the Ochd module I bought.
I've personally only had problems with 2 of my modules, a Second-hand Erica Pico DSP (mode button and/or LED flickers about but it still works), and my DIY build of a Robaux LL8 which occasionally fails to rejister a button press (still very usable).

Maybe the 1 post about Ochd was actually enough, and whats with all the forum spam?
Post a Rack in 1 thread and then tell everyone about how you liked each module in one post.
I had some loose nuts on my Ochd, I tightened them, brilliant LFO module that has worked perfecty for me and is almost always part of my patching.

Maybe people gravitate to modular from certain music styles they enjoy, though the entire point of it is experimentation to me.
I'm quite prodedure lead as a person and its always been an important part of all my work from mechanical Engineering, to Print Finishing & Graphic Design then onto Brewing, so experimenting with different procedures to make sound is about all I need. I'm sure I tend to make "techno or pinged etheral ambience" ;-) plus experimented with more Drum & Bass and Noise patching. @Farkas is right, dive back in and patch something up differently, do something you don't normally do.

Copied from YT description
I recently got @PnPModular to build me a Non-Linearcircuits @cirtcele Sloths, so I have this modulating the @paultasbeeb Indian Resonator. The Crackly noise is coming via noise fed to a VCA to lower the aplitude to the point where it turns into crackle, this crackle is fed into the @addacsystem6002 VCT-Networks 104 (I own 2x T-networks, the other non-CV is on more percussion duties), everything goes into the @AISynthesis Matrix Mixer before heading into either Monsoon Clouds (Reverb) or MakeNoise Mimeophon subtly tweaked by Sloths too.
There is a little bit of Sample action from the Radio Music Installed Prok Drum module too.

It would pair nicely with 4 Pints of Beer and a Kebab ;-)
I'd personally say get a good Reverb, I find the Mimeophon's reverb to be a bit Flanger/Phaser-like its just not as clean as it should be.
I've been hankering after a Happy Nerding FX Aid for a while, though the new Error Instruments / TINRS 'Rabbit Hole' looks interesting for some freaky weirdness. Clouds for Reverb is always pretty lush.
