The Quad Manual Gate is a 4HP quad manual gate generator, which utilises dual functionality buttons, the same found on the Mini Quad Mute, Mini Quad Stereo Mute and Triple Latching Switch, and allows for you to generate latching or momentary gate signals.
By default, the QMG makes use of its ability to detect short and long presses on each button. When a button is short pressed the output on the same channel will latch HIGH or LOW, based on the channels previous state. When long pressed, the output will momentarily go HIGH for the duration that the button is pressed, before going low. Thanks to a DIP switch on the rear of the QMG, this behaviour can be changed so the outputs are momentary regardless how long the button is held.
The Quad Manual Gate comes with two alternative front panels, which allow you to choose if the buttons are at the top of the module or at the bottom, depending how you want to use it.
