Regarding the mixer, I don't know if this is the direction you want to go, but instead of Eurorack mixers I got a Tascam Model 12 digital mixer. It has 12 channels and can handle Eurorack output voltage levels. You can also record on it and use it as a 12 channel usb audio interface.
