The CS-2 is one of those early BOSS compressors that still feels right the moment you step on it. It has a smooth, musical response that adds sustain and evens things out without completely flattening your picking dynamics. The simple Sustain, Level, and Attack controls are part of what makes this pedal so easy to live with, whether you want a subtle always-on compression or a more obvious vintage squeeze.This 1982 Made in Japan example has the warm, familiar CS-2 character that players still look for today. It works properly and sounds great, but I am listing it at a lower price because it shows fairly heavy cosmetic wear and the rear label is missing. It is not a collector-grade piece cosmetically, but if you want a real vintage MIJ CS-2 to actually use, this is still a very solid pedal.Accessories

This Japanese-made pedal can run on a 9V battery or external power. For AC operation, please use a BOSS ACA adaptor or a compatible 12V center-negative adaptor. PSA-type adaptors run at a lower voltage and may not power it correctly.Condition
