Extended technique duophonic generator
Croak is a complex oscillator that uses a topology that results in the sounds of extended acoustic instrument techniques in a synth voice.
From deep and buttery smooth, to broken and creaky, from resonant digital rust to organic heaving, Croak sounds more "real" and more "alive" than your brain will accept as something coming from a single module. The range of sounds behind the panel is a testament to the inspiration behind the design. Getting enamored with the possibilities of standalone synth entities like Rob Hordijk's Benjolin and Hikari's Duos, which are playable instruments in their own right, as much as free improv sounds from composers like Steve Lacy, Colin Stetson, Evan Parker, and Peter Brötzmann, the world of Croak brings all of that and more to the hands of the Eurorack performer.
Croak is the spirit, the beast, and the machine.
