AvonSynth is a new designer and manufacturer of high quality synthesizer hardware for sound design, electronic music production, composition, research, and education. Having created custom modular and semi-modular synthesizer solutions for over a decade, and observing the needs of the Aotearoa music community, we are establishing AvonSynth with the express purpose of creating a range of amazing sounding commercial synthesizer modules that draw inspiration from great designs of the past, with modern innovations and fabrication techniques.
Each module is built, calibrated, and tested by hand in our workshop in Christchurch, New Zealand with local and imported ingredients. We care about filling kiwi racks with reliable, easy-to-use, beautiful, and above all, stunning sounding musical instruments. This is why we will only sell fully built and calibrated products, but at prices that musicians and DIYers can actually afford.
