Expander for Turing Machine
Voltage's Expander is an eight-step sequencer with a random loop and illuminated faders, controlled by the Turing machine. It is connected using a 16-pin ribbon cable. Unusually, any number of steps can be active at the same time, leading to unpredictable results. It has two outputs: a normal output with a scale control that works in the same way as the control on the main module, and an inverted output. The latter has an “offset” control that raises the voltage by up to 9 volts. This means that you can only control positive modules (e.g., quantizers) with the inverted output.
