Advanced function generator in 6hp
A function generator with lots of features using just 6 HP of your rack space. It could work as a slew processor, an envelope generator, a low pass filter, an LFO or an oscillator. It is our version of the classic Buchla ramp generator. With voltage control over rise, fall and both at the same time. Also CV control over the cycle of the envelope. It has an envelope output, but also rising and falling edge outputs, as well as an end-of-cycle output, and of course a manual trigger button.
A 6-pin connector on the rear panel can be used to connect a second SPCTRL unit. This allows you to create a more complex function generator similar to MATHS.
Combining one or two Surges with a & makes it even more complex.
The modules can be placed anywhere in the rack, as long as the jumper cables on the back are long enough.
Doing this is a good to spread the functions of both, Surge, and & over your rack instead of having them concentrated on one specific spot.
