Utility module and/or addition to SURGE
& is the new 4hp wide utility module. It is divided into two blocks. An attenuator mixer with separate attenuator outputs, a SUM and an INV SUM output.
The second block is a logic unit. If nothing is patched into the separate inputs, the signal is taken from the respective attenuator.
There is a MAX (OR) and a MIN (AND) output. The module works with audio and CV.
The best part is that two SURGE modules can be connected via jumper cables on the back. Adding them to a & module you get something like a poor man's MATHS in just 16 HP.
Complex envelopes/LFO's can be created this way. Unlike other dual-function generators, you don't have to use the full width of MATHS for e.g. in one row or in a single module. The modules can be placed seperately anywhere in the rack, as long as the jumper cables on the back are long enough.
