Inspired by the Roland TR-808's hi-hat section, it is widely praised by users on forums like Mod Wiggler for creating sharp percussive hits and drum voices. SPECS: Voltage Controlled Clamp: Unlike a standard VCA that scales a signal, this module uses a clamp that limits the signal by clipping it. This adds a subtle, unique distortion as the envelope decays, making it ideal for percussion. Snappy Envelopes: The module generates exponential curves with a wide time range from 50 microseconds to 5 seconds. A rear jumper can increase these times by a factor of 3.5 for longer swells.
