The Make Noise Erbe-Verb has a distinct, raw sound leaning towards "early digital".Developed in collaboration with Tom Erbe (aka Soundhack), it was one of the first reverbs where spontaneous adjustments of the room size didn’t produce glitches, but instead shifted the pitch, much like an analog delay. Today, this type of algorithm can be found implemented in various hardware units, but at the time, the Erbe-Verb was visionary, making it a highly sought-after classic.Crank up the decay time, and the module moves into feedback territory, creating a roaring sonic inferno. It’s more of an instrument than a typical “end-of-chain” reverb, though it excels in that role as well, offering a wide range of controls for shaping your sound.
