One JOYSTICK 2D + GATE on 1U format !

The miniJOY module is a two-dimensional voltage generator controlled by a dual-axis joystick. Pressing the joystick generates a GATE signal.

The module's main advantage lies in its ability to control six CV parameters of your modular system with just one hand (or even one finger ^^): bring a sequence to life live, sculpt a sound, manipulate drums, and more.

The module is reversible: by rotating it 180°, the silkscreen remains legible, allowing you to position the joystick on the top or bottom, according to your preference (simply reposition the potentiometer caps).

Explanation: The joystick generates a voltage between -5V and +5V on both the X and Y axes. An attenuator allows you to adjust the voltage output for each axis; each output has a simple multiple.

Moving the joystick from left to right (X-axis) changes the voltage on the two dedicated outputs from -5V to +5V. Releasing the joystick returns it to its center position (0V).

Moving the joystick forward and backward (Y-axis) changes the voltage on the two dedicated outputs from -5V to +5V. Releasing the joystick returns it to its center position (0V).

Pressing the joystick ("GATE") increases the voltage on the two dedicated outputs to +5V. A green light ring indicates this action.
