One JOYSTICK 2D + GATE in 5HP!

The miniJOY module is a two-dimensional voltage generator controlled by a dual-axis joystick. Pressing the joystick generates a GATE signal.

The module's main advantage lies in its ability to control six CV parameters of your modular system with just one hand (or even one finger ^^): bring a sequence to life live, sculpt a sound, manipulate drums, and more.

The fact that the module is 180° reversible (depending on your configuration, whether you want the connections at the top or bottom of the module) can cause some ambiguity regarding the "X" and "Y" axes. Here's a detailed explanation:

With the joystick at the top of the module (as shown in the product photo), moving the joystick from left to right ("Y") generates a voltage of +5V to -5V on the two dedicated outputs (when the attenuator is at 100%). Releasing the joystick returns it to its center position (0V).

Moving the joystick from bottom to top ("X") generates a voltage of -5V to +5V on the two dedicated outputs (when the attenuator is at 100%). Releasing the joystick returns it to its center position (0V).

With the joystick at the bottom of the module, moving it from left to right ("Y") generates a voltage of -5V to +5V on the two dedicated outputs (when the attenuator is at 100%). Releasing the joystick returns it to its center position (0V).

Pressing the joystick ("GATE") increases the voltage on the two dedicated outputs to +5V. A green light ring indicates this action.
