Chaos Oscillator

Dentist drill sounds, Pan Sonic style buzz sounds, noise or radom CV. Also good as base sounds for bells, percussions, Hi-Hats. Noisefoc is controlled chaos! Chaos Oscillator and brilliant for screaming noise sounds.

Noisefoc is a great learning project when entering Synth DIY. It is based around three CMOS NAND gates as oscillators, controlled by potentiometers and a light dependent resistor (LDR). There's an optical feedback of the frequencies via LEDs, two mixing circuits to mix the oscillators and a power starving function which makes the device completely out of control. The Eurorack version features a kind of CV input for pitch influence via optocoupler.
