I only have seen the Eurorack version of this Portal Drum module, no stand-alone version or something like that, at least not seen at the Superbooth. Yes, take it easy with an expensive decision like this. Once the module gets released and you have an opportunity to test it locally at your local dealer then try to do that first before you decide.
Sounds like they indeed still have this chip shortage issue, that I managed about, since the release is still in the distant future.
Please let us know if you decide to buy it or better make a demo jam out of it if you got that module. I am curious how you will use it :-) Kind regards, Garfield.
