Stereo vibration, delay & reverb
AURATIE is a stereo digital effects module designed in Buchla voltage format, featuring dual-channel stereo output. It employs a Tini transfer switch that supports automatic switching between mono and stereo inputs.
AURATIE aims to explore the extension of single tones into the stereo realm. It transforms simple sounds into expansive and reshaped experiences, making it particularly effective for designing drone soundscapes. The interaction between vibrate and delay creates unique feedback with different delays and frequency changes across the left and right channels. The reverb’s gritty design, combined with the vibrate interaction, allows for intriguing experimentation, enabling users to switch the positions of the two parts for further exploration.
