Buchla 208p
SAModular 4u Boat with Power supply

This was hand built to order in Belgium by PORTABELLABZ 20 months or so ago. Since then it’s been barely used. I ordered this 208 p version after my utter disappointment with the official Easel Command built quality. This is polar opposite, solid knobs and sliders , just beautiful build quality. I’ve also read that this version is truer to the original woody 70s Easel sound from the PORTABELLABZ website :

The 208p respects the original 70s 208 design.
The curved traces, circuits, layout, panel... as well as the unique sound and behaviour are completely preserved.

The 208 p is housed in Samodular 4u boat with power supply. It has CV and Gate in Mini jacks . Both Vca/LpG outputs are available separately on the rear. The oscillators have been calibrated to 1v/Octave and so can pitch track with Eurorack etc.

I had great hopes of Buchla Bongo deliciousness but family and house moves never permitted so it’s here now like new and waiting to be used.
