Dual VCA (2VCA)Based around the original Serge 2VCA and updated with precision-matched SMD transistors, this module offers two clean, low-noise voltage controlled amplifiers for compact utility use throughout a system. Rather than serving as output mixers, these VCAs excel at patch-level control and internal routing. Each channel features an exponential (audio taper) response with 12 dB per volt sensitivity across its range. Below about 0.5V, the output rapidly attenuates to silence, perfect for envelope control and exceptionally quiet operation. With excellent CV rejection, a smooth exponential curve, and a maximum gain of 2 without distortion or overload, the Dual VCA delivers reliable and musical signal shaping anywhere in your patch.
