From the Preamp and Master controls to the Bass, Middle, Treble EQ, much of the circuit contained within has been meticulously crafted to emulate the real feel and response of a Marshall amp—minus the tubes, of course. And with the addition of an internal boost circuit, the DLS DLX is thus capable of sounds from across the Marshall spectrum from Plexi to JCM900. You can even switch between Super Lead and Super Bass modes for cutting or smoother tonal profiles. The boost is optionally switchable before or after the preamp circuit, leading to higher gain and saturation vs increased output volume respectively.
