The Shiny is a dual Hi-Hats synthesizer, designed to generate cymbal sounds and high-frequency percussive rhythms. It boasts an intuitive and minimalist design for quick and easy use. Each channel (A or B) features an AR (Attack and Release) envelope with adjustable parameters via its knobs, four types of noise (two for each channel), Gate-triggered activation, Voltage Control (CV) over the Release (R), and three independent outputs.
It’s a powerful and versatile Eurorack module suitable for live performances, music production, and sonic experimentation, thanks to its ability to craft sharp percussive rhythms.
The module includes a filter with a CutOff knob, a Resonance knob, and a CV input with an attenuation knob. Users can switch between LowPass (LP) and HighPass (HP) filters. There’s also an option to select which of the two channels (A or B) accesses the filter, with the resulting sound available via the Shiny output.
Channel A features two selectable noise types, N1/N2, via a switch, while Channel B offers two different noise types, N3/N4. This allows for a wide range of Hi-Hat sounds. The module provides three outputs: two independent outputs corresponding to channels A and B, each producing a distinct Hat sound, while the Shiny output delivers the result of either channel (A or B) processed through the chosen filter (LP or HP).
