Ah, the good old resistor ladder - something of a staple in Lunetta-style systems (the ones I design, at any rate) you can feed square waves into any of the inputs (this particular one has 5) and get something rather more interesting on the output. Of course, you're not limited to square waves so there are a load of interesting modulation possibilities there.

This is the prototype of my forthcoming R-2R DAC board - I didn't make any attempt to match the resistors (this uses 100k/220k) which gives it a bit more in the way of 'character'. Output is buffered, although with the benefit of hindsight an amplifier stage might have made more sense - for best results run this through a VCA or similar, although it is perfectly usable as-is.

Power connector is the standard 16-pin (2x8) Eurorack connector - panel is made from 3mm birch ply and is approximately 6HP (30mm) wide. If you don't like it, or want to make something tidy, then you can unscrew the jacks and LED bezels and fit your own panel. Mounting is taken care of by a pair of Ettinger right-angle brackets.

Depending on how your rack is set up, you may need to take a file to the mounting holes - for best results, use M3x10 machine screws for mounting.

NOTE: this module uses 60/40 lead/tin solder - please wash your hands after handling it.
