Multimode filter with simultaneously low pass, band pass and high pass outputs

100% Handmade through hole Radical Frequencies 12dB Multi VCF is a multimode filter providing simultaneously low pass, band pass and high pass outputs.
The character of the filter can be described as creamy with a brassy tone.
There are two audio inputs available, with their own attenuators so its easy to mix two sources into the filter.
Full CW input settings will saturate, especially when two sources are mixed, so there is a range of available tones, before even using the filter.
There is no gain loss when resonance is applied, which makes this filter a good selection for parts where variable resonance settings, are desired without losing amplitude.
The filter topology means that the filter will not self oscillate, but with maximum resonance settings, the frequencies are picked out and resonance boost, never gets harsh.
There is a CV input for the VCF’s cut-off frequency with an attenuator.

The Radical Frequencies 12dB Multi VCF is equipped with a Low and High capacitor switch that alters the filter’s response, giving a “steeper slope” feel at the High setting.

Note that upon switch the VCF capacitor at maximum resonance setting, might cause a “click” sound whilst the new capacitor, charges.
