Spring reverb module
UralTone spring reveb is designed to work as sivilized spring reverb module or instrument of it's own with "open springs" tank. The reverb tank is driven by current amplifier, which drives the tank on same level from low to high frequenzies. Recovery circuit is fitted with two range EQ where the mid range frequenzy is adjustable.
In the core of the circuit is current drive amplifier, which is best choise for driving the tank on large frequnezy range. Where the traditional voltage drive amplifier drives the speaker with changing voltage, tank is driven by changing current. The impedance of the reverb tank rises towards high frequenzies. With current drive, the high impedance is compensated by higher voltage.
The recovery circuit has +/-12dB equalizator. Mid range is adjustable on 2 octave range approx 500Hz-2kHz, highs are set to 3kHz. Both input and output has suming amplifiers, with 2x input gain and 0.5x output gain. The Feedback potentiometer is normalized to tank recovery. The Feedback input may be used as second input.
The module can use almost all reverb tank models. By default the circuit is adapted for 8 ohm tanks, but with small modifications it can be used with other models with higher impedance too.
