Permutational Sequencer
Three simple gates in, one complex CV out. The three input gates combined determine which of the eight steps is active. Three gate inputs collectively select one of eight steps by forming a binary number. The colors around the inputs and the sliders indicate what each of the inputs contributes to the selection of the step. A combination of three successively halved standard notes like quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes results in a standard left-to-right sequence. But when you replace any of the inputs with another signal you will start to see the limitless rhythmic variations that are possible with this module. Works great with the gate outputs from Trilling T=3^x·2^y MIDI Clock Divider.
