Mutable Instruments Rings in smaller form factor
nRings is a micro version of the physical modelling beast, Rings from Mutable Instruments.
A digital, voltage-controllable resonator that is ideal for creating physical modelling sounds. It offers three different resonator modes and a four-voice pseudo-polyphony. Two outputs provide different overtone structures or different notes in polyphonic mode.
nRings simulates three different types of vibrating structures:
Strings
membranes
Tubes
There are two outputs, ODD and EVEN. In monophonic mode, complementary signals are output at these. In the polyphonic modes, the first and third vibrating bodies are output to ODD, the second and fourth to EVEN.
