Module is available as a DIY project only.
This Module is a prototype or in a concept phase.
Counter / Trigger divider / Octaver / Comporator / Distortion
This module accepts trigger or audio at the input, the knob on the left is a gain control, the one on the right sets the treshold for the comporator. There are outputs for the signal after the gainstage, ( wich can be used as a simple distortion ) and for the output of the comporator.
The polarity of the comporator output can be set with the bottom switch.
Next step is to feed the output of the comporator to a binary counter. The switch on top sets the direction. The outputs on the bottom are the outputs from the counter.
By feeding the input a simple waveform, this module can be used as a suboctave generator with four individual subs out. The pulse width can be adjusted with the comporator knob. ( putting this setting under CV control so PWM can be achieved is planned for the next version)
With a clock at the input, this module acts as a clockdivider.
The high gain of the input allowes it to feed it audio from non modular audio sources. This can result in interesting pulse series on the outputs or an " out of control " distortion.
Also planned for the next version is a reset button / input to toggle all outputstates to 0 and trigger inputs for both the direction and polarity switches.
