1U Format Jumbler
GRADIENT’s Convert 1U is a banana–3.5mm format converter meant to connect your Eurorack modular system to synthesizers from Buchla, Serge, Ciat-Lonbarde, Lorre Mill, Mroztronium, and more. With eight channels of bidirectional 3.5mm–banana jack format conversion, it is a perfect way to get your systems talking to one another.
Convert 1U is a 1U module designed for use in Intellijel-format 1U rows. Use it with your 7U or Palette case to open up a line of communication between your Euro and banana-format synths. Convert 1U features an invertible PCB panel for use in either Bananas-on-Top or Bananas-on-Bottom orientation.
Heads up! Because Convert is a passive device, you should be mindful of the voltage expectations and potentials of the instruments that you use it to interconnect. Generally speaking, Serge and Eurorack signal levels are compatible with one another; however, when interfacing Buchla, Ciat-Lonbarde, and other gear, exercise care so that you can keep your instruments running smoothly.
