Gubtek - FUQT
FUQT is a fully analog 4-pole, -24dB/octave low pass filter and complex distortion module. With no Q passband attenuation, you can preserve bass frequencies while increasing resonance, ideal for crafting fat, squelchy bass lines.
The FUQT parameter is best described as a versatile distortion/wavefolder/waveshaper-esque unit, interacting dynamically with Q, frequency, and input level. Equipped with a pre-filter input gain switch for added distortion intensity, it’s perfect for injecting grit into leads, drum loops and percussive elements, as well as introducing tonal and rhythmic diversity through modulation.
It features CV control with attenuversion for precise adjustment of cutoff frequency, Q, input and output VCAs, and FUQT. It can double as a sine wave VCO capable of self-oscillation with temperature compensated v/oct tracking spanning at least two octaves, or an pulse-like wave audio rate source with FUQT engaged.
