Mutable Instruments Elements is a Eurorack modal synthesis voice that physically models the interaction between an exciter and resonator to create expressive acoustic-style and experimental sounds. It can produce bowed strings, blown reeds and horns, struck percussion, bells, glass, metal tubes, drones, and more.The exciter section blends three sound sources: bowing, blowing, and striking. These feed into a resonator that morphs between strings, plates, tubes, bowls, and other structures via the Geometry control. Brightness, Damping, Position, and Space shape the material, resonance, excitation point, stereo width, and reverb.Elements includes an internal contour envelope, 1V/oct tracking, FM, gate and strength inputs, dedicated CV control with attenuverters for nearly every parameter, stereo outputs, and external audio inputs.
