My goodness do I love this module. If you are looking for a percussion source that's not a hi-hat (but can definitely be a hi-hat with minimal effort) this is the one. There is a stupid amount of sounds to be conjured with the Chimera. Without any patching it's an outstanding percussion voice. It loves odd-cycled triggers with the "shaker" mode active. When it's patched it goes bananas and sounds go way beyond percussion and well into banana territory. Build quality is as good as the sound. Friggin love this thing, sampled it to death.I am the original owner of this module and I've kept it in my smoke-free studio, never gigged with it.
