Acid Rain Technology Ripsaw in perfect shape - I’m sure you know what these are and they are hard to find. Details below!ACID RAIN TECHNOLOGY RIPSAWRipsaw is a four-voice, supersaw-inspired oscillator by Acid Rain Technology, offering authentic swarms and polyphonic capabilities to ensure your modular rig is equipped to churn out trance bangers. Following in the footsteps of their previous module Chainsaw, Ripsaw produces detuned swarms of seven oscillators around a central pitch, based upon the supersaw sound first heard on Roland's JP-8000. Ripsaw goes a step further with its Shape parameter, blending between sawtooth and square waveforms for more variety. As a four-voice module, Ripsaw is capable of chords and independently moving parts thanks to its four 1V/Oct inputs, and each voice's oscillators are spread across the left and right outputs for rich stereo imaging.Ripsaw provides a control set that is nearly identical to its predecessor, but offers a few new things to shake things up. The new parameter called "Shift" allows for detuned hard-sync sounds—supersync, if you will—further extending Ripsaw's capabilities into new sonic directions. Like Chainsaw, you can easily get things tuned up with the optional semitone quantizer, but its easier than ever to keep track of things with the onboard LED display.Ripsaw is the first module built on Acid Rain's new HEX platform, supporting swappable firmwares down the road and bringing you more oscillators, voices, and effects processors for your rack without having to buy a new module. Bring the sound of trance and beyond to your rack with the Ripsaw by Acid Rain Technology.RIPSAW FEATURES4-voice "supersaw" oscillatorBased on Acid Rain's previous module Chainsaw7 detuned waves per voiceVariable saw/square waveform shapeShift parameter tunes an internal secondary oscillator, hard syncing the audible oscillator for "supersync" soundsStereo outputs—oscillators panned across left and right for stereo imagingLED display assembled from 77 blue LEDsIndividual 1V/Oct inputs for each voiceCV inputs for Shape, Spread, and Shift parametersOptional semitone quantizerBuilt on HEX platform—swappable firmwares to come in the future
