Rings brings the physicality of resonant structures into your rack, modeling the rich harmonic behavior of strings, plates, and other vibrating materials — without the need for an external exciter signal.Three resonator models cover a wide range of tonal character: modal resonator (tuned metallic and percussive timbres), sympathetic strings (a chorus of detuned virtual strings), and string with modulated dispersion (from clean plucks to magnetic and bowed textures).Feed it any audio as an exciter (noise, a drum hit, a voice, an oscillator) or let it self-resonate from its own internal exciter triggered by the STRUM input.
