This is the early version of the dual 4 pole HPF / LPF filter with vactrols. No longer produced as to comply with ROHS. I have owned the newer version also and can give some thoughts on the differences:This one has a much more squelchy resonance in the LPF, but when fully opened has a little bit of high end roll-off which is not there in the new revision. This version also takes audio rate modulation differently to the newer one - probably due to the slew limiting nature of the vactrol. The effect is that FM of the cutoff creates less harsh overtones than the non-vactrol version. I'd describe the sound of this module as 'Rubbery'. Unfortunately the previous owner did not provide the box but it will be shipped with care.
