Used in excellent condition and fully working. I’m not sure which firmware is installed but it’s fairly straight forward to change if needed. Two triangle-shaped grains form the basis of the sound. The sound is converted to a PWM output and routed via an (optional) low-pass filter and a 100uF capacitor to the output – so no external DAC is required. The low-pass filter on the PCB can be bypassed if you want. Bypassing the filter provides more clarity and a slightly louder output but more artifacts in the sound.You can upload different codes on the GRAINS. They all result in having a complete different module in just a few minutes. To upload a new code you need to install the Arduino ide.
