Description

Selling due to downsizing studio. Module in mint condition.S-090 Dual probability skipper module for Eurorack / Doepfer A100 systemFrom top (ch1):probability knob + CVin jackgate in jack + LEDgate out jack + LEDand same for second channel (2nd gate in is normalled from ch1)Internal jumper settings:upper jumper sets “exclusive” mode – just one output can pass current input pulse.Outputs blocks each other in this mode, ch1 has priority if common (normalled) input is used. Imagine an clocks as input to ch1 (ch2 is normalled so shares same inputs): if ch1 probability is set to 100% then ch2 pass no pulses (ch1 is totaly blocking ch2). If probabilities are set to say 50% some pulses appers on out1, some on out2 but not together in this mode. If different sources are used for both channels outputs blocks each other (if ch2 output is active ch1 output cannot pass thru)lower jumper selects different randomizing algorithms – removed jumper makes more likely pulse “clusters” at some input rates, jumper set means more “regular” random but it depends on input rate, regularity/jitter and other conditions. Simply try both settings. When  lower jumper is set (selecting one of algorithms)  100% and 0% probabilities cannot be reached (some inputs still pass thru even if probability is set to 0%/min or some not pass when probability is 100%). If you need 0%/100% setting then select proper algorithm = remove lower jumper. Can be used as two independent channels (upper jumper not set) using two inputs (or using common signal from ch1 normalled to ch2) with independent probability setting.Probability can be set from 0% (no input pass to output) to 100% (all inputs pass to output). Knobs works as attenuators for input CV if jack is plugged in. Knobs at max (no attenuating) means 0V or lower is 0% and 5V or more means 100% probability that input will pass to output.Width: 4TE/ 4HP/ 20mmDepth: 40mm /1,6″ max.Current: 25mA (from positive supply only)Power cable includedDouble check power connection before powering your system please.„Red strip“ means -12V connector side in Eurorack standards. In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted. In this case cut connector key and plug power connector right way (with respect to red strip) or use different power cable appropriate to your power system.
