Description

ANALOGUE SYSTEMS RS-340 GATE DELAY               This Analogue Systems RS-340 Gate Delay and ribbon adapter cable provides you with a Eurorack module ready for non-Analogue Systems Eurorack power supplies. This unit is in excellent condition (as new) and provides a multi-mode gate delay and shaper that delays an incoming gate signal to create a new gate or trigger after a user-defined time. The delay time can be adjusted through a manual control or externally using a voltage-controlled input, with a range of 0.5 milliseconds to 30 seconds depending on the mode selected. The module also features probabilistic delaying and can be used to convert poor gate signals into usable outputs. GATE IN accepts a positive-going pulse in the range +1V to +20V to initiate the Gate Delay cycle. The DELAY TIME determines the length of time between receipt of the input pulse, and the output Gate and Trigger. The minimum delay is 10mS. The maximum is 10S.The GATE TIME allows you to determine the duration of the generated Gate pulse. The minimum duration is 10mS. The maximum is 10S. Two LEDs give a visual indication of the state of the RS340 at any moment. The green LED will be lit during the delay period. The Red LED will be lit while the delayed Gate is 'High'. The TRIG OUT outputs a +10V pulse whose duration is determined by the GATE TIME control. The RESET IN accepts a positive-going pulse in the range +1V to +20V to reset the Gate Delay cycle. This terminates the current Delay or Gate (depending upon where the module is in the cycle) and returns to "wait" for the next input pulse. In NON-RETRIG mode, provided that no RESET pulse is received, the module always completes the full Gate Delay cycle, regardless of any further inputs at the Gate IN socket. In RETRIG mode, the module terminates the existing cycle, resets, and starts a new cycle whenever a pulse is received at the GATE IN socket. Because a Gate Delay responds to brief incoming pulses and creates Triggers and extended Gates from them, you can also use it as a pulse shaper to derive high quality Gates from poor gate signals such as the outputs from envelope followers, and click tracks replayed from tape.  6 HP, 3.5” Depth, 40 mA +/-12V.A ribbon adapter cable for using Analogue Systems eurorack modules with eurorack power supplies that do not include Analogue Systems sockets (Doepfer power supplies for example) is included in this sale. SHIPPING WITHIN CONTINENTAL U.S. ONLY
